Past Masters, Officers, Members and Brothers,

I hope everyone had a very enjoyable summer, I am looking forward to having eventful and successful year. I would like to start off by thanking Past Master Thomas Ventura, who did an excellent job with the officer installation over the summer.

James T. Elliott
It is with a sad heart that I inform you of Past Master James T. Elliot's passing over the summer, he will be greatly missed, his family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

This year I will be strongly focusing on the masonic community, bringing our brothers together not just in lodge but outside the lodge. I have been communicating with the Worshipful Masters from the Ionic and Christiana

lodges and we are currently planning on having multiple social events throughout the year to bring our lodges closer together. We are also hoping to get more of our members involved in lodge, as well as bringing in new faces to masonry.

As always, we will continue to keep the lodge moving forward, and keep trying new ideas for our fundraisers. We will be staying active in the community as well as keeping our families involved with our social events. Thank you.

2ND SATURDAY COFFEE – The monthly 2nd Saturday Social will be on Saturday, June 9th. This is an informal get together of Masons from accross the state to intereact without a scrip or agenda.

FIRST RESPONDER'S BBQ – St. John's will be having our second annual BBQ for the local police, fire fighters, and EMTs on Saturday, September 29th, at Noon. We will be providing them lunch for the day, as a thank you for everything they do. Please contact Worshipful Master Schulze if you would like to volunteer to help out with this event.

GL ANNUAL COMMUNICATION – The 213th Annual Grand Lodge Communication will be on Monday, October 1st from 9am to 2pm. All members of Grand Lodge are encouraged to attend.

GM INSTALLATION – The Grand Master's installation will be held on Thursday, Oct 4th. Further information will be added when it becomes available.

PANCAKE BREAKFAST FUNDRAISER – On Saturday, November 24, we will be holding our annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser from 8am - 11am. It is an all you can eat event so treat the family to breakfast before Christmas shopping!

FACEBOOK – St. John's Lodge has a Facebook page which enables us to spead some announcements and picture pertaining to the lodge faster. If you have a Facebook account, "Like" us to get informed quicker!

ASSISTANCE – Please notify us if you know of any member who is ill or in need of assistance.
