From The East

Brethren,

I am supporting the veterans at our VA Hospital and their needs. Until further notice the dress code will be business casual for those who bring a donation item. The donation items are as follows:
Package of Socks
Package of T-shirts
Pair of Pajama bottoms
Pair of Slippers
Toiletries (tooth brush, tooth paste, soap, deodorant)
Package of Men's Underwear.

Remember they sacrificed a lot so we can be free to meet as masons.
Tux / Suit / Jacket will be required for all degree work.

Past Masters, Officers, Members and Brothers,

Thank you for electing me as Master of St.

John's Lodge No 2 for the 3rd time. I guess 3rd time is the charm. This year I am starting out focusing on our Military veterans and first responders because we have the luxury of freedom, health and safety because of what they have and will continue to do.

I want to get back to a pre‐pandemic lodge with events to include our wives as well as our families. I want to support other lodges with attendance as well as supporting their Grand Lodge Visits. You cannot expect brothers from other lodges to support and visit your lodge if we don't support and visit their lodges. There are always events / meeting happening throughout the state just go to the Grand lodge website and check their calendar and ask a brother to go.

I want us to have a great year but I can't do it without your help!!
We have all heard the saying you get out of masonry what you put into it. This can't be truer. If you want something from masonry, you can start by getting involved with your lodge. We need Ideas and brothers to support and execute these ideas. You don't need to be an officer to get involved all members are welcome to contribute. I know Covid put a damper on social gatherings and kept some of you from coming to lodge and other events. I hope we are done with that and I'll see you at our next meeting / event.

Fraternally Yours,
W∴M∴ Stephane G. Sabourine,PM

Attest: Robert C. Wright
Secretary
